Zainab El Mouden is a hijab wearing British-Moroccan semi-professional footballer and community coach. Born and raised in London, she began her football journey in her teens and quickly progressed through youth academies, including Pro-Direct Academy.

Zainab has played for several clubs, including Leyton Orient, Charlton U21s, London Bees, and London Seaward FC. In January 2025, she joined Chesham United FC, where she currently plays as a defender.

Beyond her athletic achievements, El Mouden is a vocal advocate for Muslim women in sports. She has openly discussed the challenges of balancing her faith, identity, and athletic career, particularly during Ramadan.
