Local police officers who have been playing football for 10 years at Goals Sheffield are
attempting to visit all 92 football league clubs in 92 hours. This is a heart-warming story of 3 officers raising money for The Children’s Hospital Charity. So far, the team have raised
£1,159 with 14 weeks away from their official challenge start date.
With one car, 92 grounds and 92 hours to achieve this incredible feat of
achievement, they will be looking to raise money for the Cancer and Leukemia Ward
at the hospital. The ward treats babies through to 19-year olds and is one of the
twenty principle treatment centres in the UK.
The officers will start this challenge at Barnsley Football Club at 8pm on Friday 12th
July and finish at Bramall Lane at 4pm on Tuesday 16th July. According to their
Instagram page, @ninetytwo_in_92 , they quite enjoy each other’s company and will
be sharing the drive to visit every football league ground and grabbing a photo to
share on social.
